I have been involved with phpBB for about 6 years. I installed it 6 years ago for an Amateur Radio Emergency Service Group (ARES) installed a few modifications (Mods) and didn’t stop. Since then they didn’t want the forum any more and opted for a mailing reflector.
Then I got the bug my self and started installing Mods on my own Ham Radio Forum.

I looked around for a Portal Mod for phpBB3 and came across Stargate Portal I fell in love with this portal it, is by far the best supported portal. I kept installing Mods and started getting the bug for new styles and Ported my first style Carbon Copy. I didn’t stop I started cranking out ported styles for Stargate Portal..
I needed a place to show my ports and collect other peoples ports and Stargate Styles Forum was born.
Presently Stargate 2.0.3 is being tested by staff at Stargate Portal Support site and I’m happy to be one of the beta testers and a proud staff member over there.
